Grind

Walters, Eric

Grind

Series: Orca Soundings

Genre: sports

Phillip will do almost anything to be a big-time skateboarder.

"All I'm saying is that if you took it down a notch or two, you'd make the jumps and save the injuries."
"I always make the jumps," I argued.
   "What are you talking about?"
"I make the jumps.  It's the landings that I'm having trouble with."

To me this book was ok. it wasn't the greatest and it was kinda short. At parts it had my attintion but not always. I liked it pretty well because I think skateboarding is fun and I like how presistant Phillip was about his tricks. I think its cool that him and his friends made a website to get out the word on their skating. I feel like Phil learned something from that proskate boarder and that learning new things take practice and you might not always get it on the first try, even the pros have to practice at things.i think i would rate this book like a 3 or a 2.

The book Grind was ok to me because like the characters in this book I skateboard. But I don't really like the way this book ended If only th ending was different. Other than that the rest of the story was pretty interesting. I would rate this book a 5 out of 10.
